Signature Spring Dishes
The hotel’s restaurant, The Kailyard by Nick Nairn, offers a range of refreshing dishes that are perfect for milder spring-time lunches or dinners.
For starters, try Nick’s original cure smoked Scottish salmon with pickled salad, lemon crème fraiche and crispy capers. This classic dish is both light and filling. Or for something that mixes both sweet and savoury, choose our endive and Badentoy blue cheese salad with pickled walnuts, caramelised apples and pomegranate dressing.
For the main attraction, choose from pan-fried Loch Etive sea trout with baby potatoes and mussels, or pan-fried fillet of scrabster cod with gnocchi and butternut squash puree. Healthy, delicious and local – that’s what The Kailyard is all about.
Finally, finish off your spring-themed meal with mango and passionfruit crème fraiche mousse, honeycomb parfait with caramelised banana, or Nick’s famous berry trifle. Fruity and indulgent!
