Stirling Farmers’ Market

2nd Saturday of each month from 10am to 4pm.

Browse the 25 stalls offering an unbelievable variety of locally grown fruit and vegetables, homemade pies and cakes, in-season meats, award-winning confectionery and the finest selection of deli items this side of Europe.

Blairmains Farm

Blairlogie, Stirling.

If you’re looking to buy some wholesome Scottish produce then head here to the foot of the Ochil hills. The farm shop offers an incredible variety of locally grown berries, Scottish-assured meats from neighbouring farms and as much home-baking as you could want. Even their ice cream is produced at local dairy farms - it doesn’t come much fresher than that!

Briarlands Farm

Blair Drummond, Stirling.

A shopping experience with a difference, the farm offers a fantastic outdoor fun yard for the kids and a strawberry field for picking your own punnets! While the wee ones play with the farm animals, you can browse the artisan goodies inside or enjoy the delicious dishes on offer in the tearoom.

Bridge of Allan Makers' Market

2nd Sunday of each month from 11am to 4pm.

Now housed in the recently refurbished Royal Hotel, the market showcases a variety of local creations. From unique pieces of jewellery and clothing to confectionery delights and artisan breads, there’s always something different on offer.

Cake Fest Scotland

Sunday 11th September 2016 from 10am to 4pm, Cowane's Hospital, Stirling.

It was Marie Antoinette who famously said “Let them eat cake!” and we wholeheartedly agree! Watch as 100 teams of amateur and professional bakers, from all across Scotland, join together to recreate the country’s top 100 buildings in cake! A delight for the eyes and the stomach, what could be better than an edible sculpture? Enjoy the street theatre, explore the castle and, once the ‘buildings’ have been assembled on the 100m map, tuck in and savour the real taste of Scotland!

Gin Tasting

Friday 9th December 2016 from 7.30pm to 10.30pm, Curly Coo Bar, Stirling.

Scotland is well known for its whisky and its rising popularity in gin and craft beer production. At the Curly Coo, you can choose from over 120 malt whiskies any time you like, but this occasion is wholly dedicated to Scottish gin. Create your own perfect ‘G&T’ and sample five more gins from across Scotland and Europe. Did we mention there will be nibbles galore as well?

Stirling Gin Festival

Friday 4th November to Saturday 5th November.

The famous Stirling Whisky Shop, which brought you the Stirling Whisky Festival, is holding a celebration of all things gin – from country-wide exhibitors to special masterclasses and more.

The Trossachs Beer Festival

If you love live folk music, traditional Scottish food and the best beers and ales Scotland has to offer, then head to the Trossachs Beer Festival. Join in the celebration and sample some of the 160 Scottish real ales from the Scottish Real Ale Shop.
