The Gala dinner is a black tie affair and will take place in the lavish Strathallan Suite. Guests can savour a celebratory feast created by renowned Head Chef, Nick Nairn.
The champagne reception will be followed by a 4-course dinner, which will feature delights such as our lobster ravioli served in a champagne sauce with caviar, and a moreish dessert of calvados panna cotta served with green apple sorbet, apple crisp and cider syrup.
To entertain guests, there will be a ceilidh band until late and a disco. To ring in the New Year in true Scottish style, we will be joined by a piper for the bells. Our hearty DoubleTree buffet breakfast will be served the following morning, to get your New Year’s Day off to a flying start. Then, why not take a stroll around the hotel gardens and take in the stunning Scottish landscape.
Families can choose our Family Break package which includes two nights’ accommodation, a full breakfast the next morning and a special Hogmanay meal in The Kailyard. Nick Nairn and his team have put together a delicious 3-choice menu, with creations such as terrine of confit game served with spiced cranberry sauce and sourdough toast, and indulgent desserts such as baked vanilla cheesecake with a Tia Maria and coffee sauce.
Little tummies will be kept happy with their very own three-choice menu which features escalope of breaded chicken with mashed potato and chocolate cake with toffee sauce. There will be a disco so you can boogie the night away.
